American Pistachio Growers –

American Pistachio Growers is an agricultural trade association representing members who are pistachio growers, processors and industry partners in California, Arizona and New Mexico. Pistachio nutrition research, government affairs, product development and market development are key activities conducted by the Association.



Administrative Committee for Pistachios –

The Administrative Committee for Pistachios is a Federal Marketing Order which regulates the handling of pistachios produced in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. The order sets standards for the quality of pistachios produced and handled in these states by establishing a maximum aflatoxin tolerance level and mandatory inspection and certification for domestic shipments of pistachios.



Almond Board of California –

At the request of the almond industry, a Federal Marketing Order for almonds was established in 1950. The Board engages in production, nutrition and market research, advertising and promotion in domestic and international markets, quality control and statistical analysis and dissemination.



Raisin Administrative Committee –

The Raisin Administrative Committee is a federal marketing order created in 1949 as a result of the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937. The committee collects and distributes delivery data weekly, shipment data monthly, publishes an annual report of industry statistics and policies, actively and directly markets into 15 foreign nations, and collaborates with the USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service.



National Pecan Shellers Association –

The National Pecan Shellers Association (NPSA), is a non-profit trade association committed to educating culinary and health professionals, food technologists and the general public about the nutritional benefits, variety of uses and all around great taste of pecans.



California Walnut Board & California Walnut Commission –

The California Walnut Board and Commission were established to represent the walnut growers and handlers of California. They promote usage of walnuts in the United States through publicity and educational programs as well as fund health research, export market development activities and walnut production and post-harvest research.



Industry Resources

International Nut and Dried Fruit Council –

The INC is the International source for information on nuts and dried fruits for Health, Nutrition, Food Safety, Statistics, Government Standards and Government regulations regarding trade barriers and trade quality standards.


Peanut and Tree Nut Processors Association –

The PTNPA was established in 1939 and strives to be “The Voice of America’s Nut Industry”. They proactively advance America’s nut industry through professional networks, advocacy and education.



Specialty Crop Trade Council –

The Specialty Crop Trade Council was formed in 1925 under the Webb-Pomerene Act to support the business needs of California’s dried fruit and tree nut exporters. SCTC provides negotiated export ocean freight rates, arbitration services, industry resources, and strong advocacy on behalf of its members.
