Pistachios

Pistachios are truly the food of kings. Originating from Persia, pistachios became commercially available from California in the late 1970’s. Along with their excellent health benefits, pistachios are a popular snacking item and a unique flavorful ingredient for the confectionery, baking and snacking industry.

As a grower we are able to offer all grades and sizes of pistachios. We offer both Inshell and Shelled pistachios – raw, roasted and salted.

Pistachios - Inshell

Product Description: Inshell pistachios are uniform in size, clean, well dried, free from excessive defects, damage, glass, metal or live insects. Our inshell pistachios are graded to the USDA standards (Grades & Tolerances are specified in Table 3). Base shell color & kernel color varies from year to year.

Size: Pistachio size is specified by the number of whole pistachios per ounce. Size ranges from 16-18 per ounce to 30 plus per ounce. Availability of particular sizes varies year to year.

Organoleptic Characteristics: Typical pistachio flavor, free from rancidity, off flavors, and odors.

Natural Almonds

Product Description:
Natural almonds are shelled, of similar varietal characteristics, uniform in size, clean, well dried, free from excessive defects, damage, and foreign material, and are graded in accordance with USDA standards for grades of shelled almonds.

Size:
Almond size is specified by the number of whole almonds per ounce. Size ranges from 16-18 per ounce to 34-36 per ounce. Availability of particular sizes varies year to year.

Variety:
Almonds are available in a number of varieties. Varieties most commonly available are Nonpareil, Mission, and the California varieties. Availability of varieties varies year to year.

Organoleptic Characteristics:
Typical almond flavor, free from rancidity, off flavors, and odors.

Raisins - Seedless

Product Description:
The Thompson seedless raisin will be produced from good quality domestic Thompson Seedless grapes by a process of natural sun drying. The will be inspected, routinely fumigated (Phostoxin), de-stemmed and cleaned.

The raisins will conform to all specifications of purity and identify as prescribed by Federal and State regulations

The raisins will meet U.S.D.A. standards or exceed or meet your SPEC.

Storage and Shelf Life:
This product is best stored in cool (40°-50° F), dry conditions and should be used within 12 months for optimal quality. Store at 32° F or less for prolonged shelf life.

Raisins - Golden

Product Description:
Fresh Natural Thompson Seedless Raisin will be produced from good quality domestic Thompson Seedless grapes by a process of treating the grapes with Sulfur Dioxide. Drying the grapes in a dehydrator to a moisture of between 10% to 14%. The raisins will be inspected by the U.S.D.A. and stored. The raisins will be routinely fumigated with Fumitoxin then de-stemmed and cleaned.

The raisins will conform to all specifications of purity and identify as prescribed by Federal and State regulations

The raisins will meet U.S.D.A. standards or exceed or meet your SPEC.

Packaging:
This product is packaged in 1.2 mil blue polyethylene liners and placed in corrugated bulk cases. The cases are placed on pallets, identified with placards, and then shrink wrapped.

They will conform to all specifications of purity and identify as prescribed by Federal and State regulations and will meet or exceed U.S.D.A. standards.
